Clinical Report: Antibiotic Guideline Gaps Raise SSI Risk

Overview

A nationwide analysis of over 119,000 noncardiac surgeries reveals that adherence gaps to perioperative antibiotic prophylaxis guidelines are common and significantly increase the risk of surgical site infections (SSI).
