Background
Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a prevalent condition that significantly impacts the quality of life, especially among older adults. With no known cure and limited disease-modifying interventions available, effective symptomatic treatments are essential. Prescription glucosamine sulfate has been studied for managing KOA symptoms.

Key Findings
281 Filipino adults with mild-to-moderate KOA were enrolled in the study.
98.6% of participants completed the study, with 88% receiving pGS monotherapy.
47% of patients achieved ≥50% pain reduction by Week 4.
