This study evaluates the diagnostic performance of T-SPOT.TB, GeneXpert MTB/RIF, and TB-DNA PCR in diagnosing paucibacillary pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB).

Paucibacillary pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) poses significant diagnostic challenges due to low bacillary loads that hinder detection by conventional methods. Current molecular assays often fail to identify cases with low mycobacterial burden.
