Overview

This study evaluates the role of Pentraxin-3 (PTX3) as a systemic indicator and local inflammatory mediator in thyroid nodules. Elevated plasma PTX3 levels were observed preoperatively in patients with thyroid nodules, with significant declines post-surgery.
