Key Highlights

  • The corrected mean (range) baseline disease duration for recalcitrant, longstanding HS is 9.7 (0.4–49.1)–10.8 (0.4–57.7) years.
  • In STOP-HS2, three patients stopped treatment after week 12: two by physician decision and one by withdrawal.
  • One patient withdrew after completing treatment through week 12, replacing the prior report that two patients discontinued then and both withdrew.
  • The STOP-HS1 75 mg entries for ≥3-point decrease in Skin Pain NRS and Skin Pain NRS30 should carry superscript f with their P values, not e.
  • Extended Data Fig. 5e, f should show a blue rather than grey dotted line between weeks 18 and 24, and numerical values adjacent to week 6 dots should be placed beside the week 12 dots.
  • Supplementary Table 6A’s Week 12 values in the “A75, Baseline A count, 3–5” section are corrected to 36.8 (25/68), 35.3 (18/51), 37.2 (16/43).
