Objective:

To evaluate the potential utility of fecal eosinophil-derived neurotoxin (fEDN) and lipocalin-2 (LCN-2) as non-invasive fecal biomarkers for screening and assessing pediatric inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and to compare their sensitivity and specificity to fecal calprotectin (FC).
