Objective:

To investigate lifestyle-related factors in patients with PsA and their association with disease activity measurements.

Approach:
  • Study Population: 938 patients newly diagnosed with PsA were included from the Dutch South West Psoriatic Arthritis (DEPAR) study, a multicenter prospective cohort study.
  • Ethical Approval: The study was approved by the Medical Ethics Committee of Erasmus Medical Center Rotterdam, and all participants provided written informed consent.
  • Disease Activity Measures: Disease activity was measured using DAPSA and PASDAS at baseline and follow-up assessments.
  • Lifestyle-related Factors: Factors such as BMI, waist circumference, smoking, alcohol consumption, physical activity, sleep, and social impairment were collected at baseline.
