Objective:

To describe a contralateral trans-spinous base inclined (CTI) approach using arthroscopic-assisted uni-portal spinal surgery (AUSS) for treating multilevel lumbar lateral recess and foraminal stenosis in an elderly patient.

Key Findings:
  • Postoperative imaging confirmed effective decompression at both levels with no progression of spondylolisthesis.
  • The facet joint average preservation rate was 93.97%.
Interpretation:

Limitations:
  • The study is based on a single case report, limiting generalizability.
  • Long-term outcomes and comparative effectiveness with other techniques are not provided.
Conclusion:

The CTI-AUSS technique is presented as a minimally invasive option for treating multilevel lumbar stenosis in elderly patients.
