Objective:

To assess pediatric nurses' knowledge regarding the use of the budesonide–formoterol inhaler and identify factors associated with higher knowledge scores.

Approach:
    Key Findings:
    • Themeanknowledgescorewas85.07±17.94,with89.47%ofparticipantsachievingascoreof≥60,whichwasusedasaninstitutionalreferencethresholdforhigherknowledgeperformance.Nursesworkinginspecializedrespiratorywardsandthosereceivingmorefrequenttrainingdemonstratedsignificantlyhigherscores(P<0.05).
    Interpretation:

    Pediatric nurses demonstrated generally adequate knowledge of inhalation therapy; however, gaps remain.

    Limitations:
    • Thestudywaslimitedbyconveniencesampling,asmallsamplesize,andthelackofdirectassessmentofpracticalskills.
    Conclusion:

    Targeted training and increased clinical exposure may improve knowledge and potential quality of patient education.
