Objective:

The correction updates patient disease-duration data, Figure 1 discontinuation footnotes, Table 2 annotations, Extended Data Figure 5 presentation, and a value sequence in Supplementary Table 6A.

Approach:
  • Patient characteristics: Corrected the reported mean (range) disease duration to 9.7 (0.4−49.1)−10.8 (0.4−57.7) years.
  • Figure 1: Revised footnote b to state that three STOP-HS2 patients stopped treatment after week 12: two by physician decision and one by withdrawal. Revised footnote d to state that one patient withdrew after completing treatment through week 12.
  • Table 2 and Extended Data Figure 5: Changed the superscript for the STOP-HS1 75 mg entries for ≥3-point decrease in Skin Pain NRS and Skin Pain NRS30, with their P values, from “e” to “f.” In panels 5e and 5f, changed the line between weeks 18 and 24 from grey dotted to blue and moved numerical values from beside the week 6 dots to beside the week 12 dots.
  • Supplementary Table 6A: Corrected the Week 12 sequence in the “A75, Baseline A count, 3−5” section from 37.2 (16/43), 36.8 (25/68), 35.3 (18/51) to 36.8 (25/68), 35.3 (18/51), 37.2 (16/43).
