Analysis of Risk Factors and Construction of a Prediction Model for Preoperative Concurrent Pathogenic Pyuria in Patients With Ureteral Calculi

To analyze risk factors for preoperative pyuria in patients with ureteral calculi and develop a predictive model for concurrent pathogenic pyuria.

630 patients (53.30%) were diagnosed with pyuria.
Independent risk factors for preoperative pyuria: female gender, bilateral UC, stone size, hydronephrosis size.
For pathogenic pyuria: female gender, comorbid diabetes mellitus, hydronephrosis size > 40 mm.
Prediction model showed an area under the ROC curve of 0.764, indicating good predictive ability.

The study confirms significant risk factors for preoperative pyuria and pathogenic pyuria, providing a model for early intervention.

The developed prediction model can effectively assess the risk of preoperative concurrent pathogenic pyuria, aiding in early clinical interventions.
