Objective:

To correct the error in the figure caption for Figure 3 in the case report regarding Ivarmacitinib for atopic dermatitis.

Approach:
  • Correction of Figure Caption: The caption for Figure 3 was corrected to accurately describe the histopathological analysis of the abdominal skin lesion, which had previously included the description intended for Figure 2.
Key Findings:
  • Significant epidermal thickening associated with hyperkeratosis and acanthosis.
  • Moderately dense inflammatory infiltrate in the superficial and mid-dermis, characterized by perivascular and interstitial distribution.
  • Predominance of lymphocytes within the infiltrate, with occasional eosinophils present.
Interpretation:

The corrected findings clarify the histopathological characteristics observed in the case study.

Conclusion:

The original article has been updated to accurately reflect the histopathological analysis of Figure 3.
