Objective:

To report a case of a young woman with advanced ALK-positive NSCLC who experienced severe dysphagia.

Key Findings:
  • Rapid reduction of cervical lymph node swelling was observed within days of lorlatinib administration.
  • Swallowing improved, and the patient resumed oral intake.
  • Imaging showed a partial response at two weeks and a complete metabolic response at six months.
Interpretation:

Limitations:
  • No formal evidence exists for alternative formulations of lorlatinib.
  • The study is based on a single case report.
Conclusion:

Crushed lorlatinib administered through a nasogastric tube is an option for dysphagic patients with ALK-positive NSCLC.
