Objective:

Correct errors and clarify data labels and censoring information in the published article and its supplementary materials.

Approach:
  • Numerical and labeling corrections: The correction updates maintenance-treatment counts, the Fig. 2 data cutoff date, selected Table 3 and Supplementary Table S13 values, the Supplementary Table S10 footnote, and the Fig. 2 Source Data column label.
  • Clarifications: For specified survival-analysis Source Data, 0 denotes an event and 1 denotes censoring. Supplementary Table S15 explains why three patients who later died were censored in PFS and duration-of-response analyses.
Key Findings:
  • The correct number continuing maintenance treatment is 233 (80.6%), not 231 (79.9%); the Extended Data Fig. 1 legend total is also corrected to 233.
  • The Fig. 2 data cutoff date is 18 February 2021, not 18 February 2020.
  • In the Toripalimab + GP group, any-grade thrombocytopenia is 92 (63.0), and grade ≥3 hypochloremia is 2 (1.4).
  • The Supplementary Table S10 footnote now says “determined by BIRC”; Supplementary Table S13 reports “Alive” as 219 (75.8); and the Fig. 2 Source Data column is labeled “OS,” not “PFS.”
  • Three patients who later died were censored for PFS and duration-of-response analyses after missing at least two consecutive scheduled tumor assessments or starting new anticancer therapy before progression or death was documented.
Interpretation:

The correction states that the study’s results and conclusions are unaffected.

Conclusion:

Amendments were incorporated into the article’s HTML and PDF versions, including its text, table, figures, and Source Data.
