To report a case of lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma of the bladder (LELCB) and contribute to the understanding of this rare subtype of urothelial carcinoma.
Approach:
Pathological Findings: Histopathological examination revealed tumor cells with nuclear enlargement, hyperchromasia, and irregular nuclear contours, exhibiting a nested and infiltrative growth pattern. A dense lymphoid stromal infiltrate was present, characteristic of LELCB.
Key Findings:
LELCB accounts for less than 1.3% of malignant bladder tumors.
The patient experienced recurrence despite chemotherapy.
