Objective:

To provide an overview of reported cases of PTHrP-associated hypercalcemia in gynecologic malignancies and evaluate pre- and postoperative biochemical parameters.

Approach:
    Key Findings:
    • PTHrP is involved in hypercalcemia of malignancy in gynecologic cancers, primarily evidenced by case reports.
    • There is heterogeneity in the literature regarding biochemical confirmation and clinical findings.
    • PTHrP is associated with increased blood calcium levels and tumor growth.
    Interpretation:

    Limitations:
    • The literature is heterogeneous with variable levels of biochemical confirmation.
    • Evidence is primarily derived from case reports.
    Conclusion:

This scoping review aims to map existing evidence on PTHrP-related hypercalcemia in gynecological cancers.
