Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the reduced-dose combination of daratumumab, bortezomib, and dexamethasone (DVd-lite) in patients with newly diagnosed monoclonal gammopathy of renal significance (MGRS).
Approach: Key Findings: Thestudyreportedahematologicaloverallresponserate(ORR)of80%andarenalORRof90%.Completeresponseratesinbothhematologyandrenalcategorieswerefoundtobe60%.Notably,onlyonepatientexperiencedagrade3treatment-relatedadverseevent. Interpretation: The DVd-lite regimen was well-tolerated and demonstrated promising efficacy in patients with newly diagnosed MGRS.
Limitations: Small sample size of ten patients. Short median observation period of 13.1 months. Conclusion: The findings suggest that the DVd-lite regimen may be an effective treatment for MGRS, indicating a need for further research.
