To describe obstetric and perinatal outcomes of pregnant women with advanced maternal age (AMA) conceiving through in vitro fertilization (IVF) technology.
Approach:
Study Design: A single-center prospective observational study conducted between January and December 2024, including women aged 40 and older who conceived via IVF.
Participants: 128 pregnant women were included, with regular prenatal follow-up in a maternal-fetal unit.
Subgroup Analysis: A subgroup analysis was conducted comparing women aged 40–44 years to those aged 45 years and older.
Key Findings:
46.88% of participants were primigravid (n = 60).
55.47% of pregnancies resulted from oocyte donation (n = 71).
