To examine the influence of social factors on the utilization of digital health interventions (DHIs) in China.
Approach:
Study Design: A national cross-sectional analysis was conducted to assess the utilization of DHIs across different population groups in China.
Key Findings:
Digital health inequity is influenced by factors such as financial resources, digital access, health literacy, eHealth literacy, social support, and healthcare access.
Barriers to DHI utilization are evident at individual, community, and societal levels.
Older adults and individuals in underserved regions face significant challenges in accessing and using DHIs.
Limitations:
The analysis may not capture all regional variations within China.
Self-reported data may introduce bias in assessing DHI utilization.
