To report a case of a patient with both synchronous and metachronous multiple primary lung cancer (MPLC) and discuss the diagnostic and therapeutic process.
Key Findings:
The patient developed new GGNs in the left lower lobe after lobectomy for sMPLC.
Pathology confirmed metachronous MPLC as minimally invasive adenocarcinoma.
EGFR-TKI therapy led to sustained complete remission of the lesions.
Interpretation:
Limitations:
The case report is based on a single patient, limiting generalizability.
Long-term efficacy and safety of EGFR-TKIs in similar cases require further clinical validation.
