Objective:

To present the case of a patient with recurrent metastatic anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC) treated with immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy after exhausting standard treatment options.

Key Findings:
  • The patient achieved prolonged progression-free survival of 12 months and overall survival of 18 months.
  • Nivolumab treatment resulted in a complete radiographic response of pulmonary metastases.
  • The patient experienced grade 3 colitis and a Clostridium difficile infection as side effects.
