Objective:
To document the efficacy of telitacicept in a patient with IgA nephropathy, stage 4 chronic kidney disease, and acute renal failure.
Approach:
- Patient Profile: A 47-year-old male with stage 4 CKD and acute kidney injury diagnosed with IgAN via biopsy.
- Treatment Protocol: Administered 240 mg of telitacicept for 6 months, followed by gradual reduction and maintenance therapy for 12 months.
Key Findings:
- Proteinuria decreased from 2.82 g/day to 0.60 g/day.
- eGFR improved from 26.95 to 35.69 mL/min/1.73 m² over 18 months.
- Serum albumin levels increased steadily.
- Hematuria gradually declined.
- No infections or adverse events were observed.
