Objective:
To evaluate the quality and uploader-related differences of dry eye educational videos on Xiaohongshu.

- 108 videos were uploaded by non-medical individual users and 28 by individual medical users.
- Content mainly focused on lifestyle recommendations (87.5%) and treatment strategies (62.5%).
- Videos from non-medical users had a higher prevalence of incorrect or potentially misleading information (57.4% vs. 10.7%).
- Videos from medical users scored significantly higher in quality assessments (all P < 0.001).
- Higher quality scores were associated with a greater number of covered content domains.
