AACD Names Krista Paternostro Bower Executive Director

Krista Paternostro Bower has been named executive director of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, effective August 19, 2026.

Bower has over 30 years of experience in association and nonprofit management, including strategic planning and credentialing.

She previously served as CEO and executive director of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates, overseeing membership growth.

Bower succeeds Dr. Brad Olson, who served as interim executive director and will remain involved with AACD.

AACD will continue to focus on its mission, including education, accreditation, professional development, and member engagement.
