The study analyzed National Health Interview Survey data from 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024, including 114,352 respondents.

From 2022 to 2024, the prevalence of any alcohol use decreased by 1.24 percentage points, while heavy alcohol use decreased by 0.52 percentage points.
