Rohan Garje, MD, chief of genitourinary medical oncology at Baptist Health Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute, received ASCO’s FASCO designation in July 2026.

Since 2022, Garje has chaired ASCO’s metastatic prostate cancer guideline development group, which issued major treatment updates in 2022 and 2025.

Garje was lead author of ASCO’s 2025 guideline update on systemic therapy for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.

Garje has helped ASCO maintain living metastatic prostate cancer guidelines and has contributed to guidance on cancer biomarkers, genomic testing, melanoma, and head and neck cancer.

FASCO recognizes sustained volunteer service to ASCO, and Garje is expected to receive formal recognition at the organization’s 2027 Annual Meeting.
