This retrospective TriNetX study used propensity score matching to compare hematologic malignancy incidence among adults with type 2 diabetes initiating GLP-1RAs, DPP-4 inhibitors, or SGLT2 inhibitors

  • 2

Among 68,949 matched pairs, GLP-1RA use was not significantly associated with any assessed hematologic malignancy compared with DPP-4 inhibitor use.

  • 3

Among 71,391 matched pairs, GLP-1RA use was associated with lower incidence of NHL, MPN, and Hodgkin lymphoma than SGLT2 inhibitor use.

  • 4

Compared with SGLT2 inhibitors, GLP-1RAs were not significantly associated with differences in myeloid or lymphoid leukemia, plasma cell neoplasms, or MDS.

  • 5

Exploratory analyses found no significant differences in NHL subtypes between GLP-1RA users and either active comparator group.
