    EV-D68 is a re-emerging pathogen that causes acute respiratory illness and can lead to acute flaccid myelitis; infections are reported mainly in children, although adults—particularly those with underlying conditions—are also affected.

    The study measured EV-D68 neutralizing antibodies in paired serum samples from 194 adult retail workers collected 48 weeks apart.
