Stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation (STAR) is effective for refractory ventricular arrhythmias and may be applicable for oncologic cardiac targets.

  • 2

A 26-year-old man with metastatic Ewing sarcoma underwent STAR-inspired single-fraction cardiac radioablation for a right-ventricular mass.

  • 3

The patient received 25 Gy in a single fraction, resulting in a reduction of the lesion size from 17 × 15 mm to 8 × 10 mm at 12 months.

  • 4

No cardiac toxicity was observed, and the patient remained free of cardiac symptoms and disease progression at 31 months post-treatment.

  • 5

The case supports further evaluation of STAR-inspired approaches for treating unresectable cardiac tumors.
