This retrospective study included 7,918 new pediatric cardiology visits for chest pain, dizziness or syncope, palpitations, or murmur from 2022 through 2023.

  • 2

Of 7,080 families offered a survey, 1,293 responded, for a 16% response rate; 91% of respondents gave top-box provider ratings.

  • 3

Top-box ratings did not differ significantly by referral complaint, with scores ranging from 89% for chest pain to 93% for murmur visits.

  • 4

Individual cardiac tests and testing patterns were not significantly associated with top-box patient and family experience scores.

  • 5

Multivariable analyses identified no independent predictors of top-box scores among age, clinic location, complaint, testing, and follow-up recommendations.
