    This study investigates drug-coated balloons (DCBs) for treating left anterior descending artery stenosis near myocardial bridges.

    A total of 30 patients received DCB treatment, while 105 patients were treated with drug-eluting stents (DES) in this retrospective cohort.

    No significant difference in major adverse cardiac events (MACEs) was observed between DCB and DES groups during a median follow-up of 507 days.

    Kaplan–Meier analysis showed MACE-free survival rates of 73.96% for DCB and 82.49% for DES, with no statistically significant difference.
